Time after time

My dad has been bugging me for a blog post! So here goes.

The only reason I didn't do one sooner was because I was waiting for Aaron to finish something out the front. And then I could do a final shot of the house all complete. Yep well that has been and gone and we have moved onto other things.

The house looks amazing all painted. With the planter boxes out the front. Everyone that helped did an amazing job and we are truly tankful to the friends and family that came to help.

We also painted a feature wall in the hallway. That looks great too!

Lately Aaron and I have been working on replacing the kitchen and lounge windows with new louver windows. These got installed the other month and we have added the architraves and I have done the final coat of paint in the lounge and kitchen. So that's all done. TICK!

Now that we have new windows we can start working on one of the final parts of the house, the long anticipated concrete bench top. This is very exciting! So this weekend Aaron spent under the house using a dingo to flatten out the ground so we have somewhere to pour the concrete. Aaron has also started working on the moulds.

Hopefully this weekend we may be able to start pouring the concrete.

Besides the concrete bench top we just have to finish the pantry and then the inside of the house is complete! YAY! Only a year behind schedule but painting the outside of the house wasn't in the timing so that pushed us out.

We love the house and are so proud of how far we have come.
