Waiting all night

Not much of a post this week. Azz worked on the floor grate drain or something and also framing up the bathtub. So here is the bathtub in position, It's sitting a little high so we need to fix that.

I know I keep saying it, but hopefully this week we will sheet the floors and maybe even the walls. Fingers crossed.

Not sure if we would have been any good on the Block, clearly everything takes time. Handy if you have other people to help.

Somewhere over the rainbow

And here we are again, another weekend gone, can you believe its already middle of May?

We had more of a fitness weekend rather than a renovation weekend, which was nice.

On Saturday we had a masterclass on learning some advanced crossfit moves, like handstand pushups, handstand walking and muscle ups, see video.

Sunday we supported the fight against cancer and ran 8km to help find a cure in the Mothers Day Classic.

Aaron worked on the bathroom a little more by replacing some rotten floor boards and beam.

That's us all done for another weekend. Nothing too exciting, although Aaron is pretty pleased with his muscle ups.

Holdin on

2 days off and Aaron will tell you it looks like he didn't get much done. Me on the other hand, I got heaps done!

Aaron spent the two days in the bathroom trying to work out the floor grate. He had to remove floor boards, insert new joists, all so that we only have a 20mm step up into the bathroom rather than a 40mm. He also replaced rotted floor boards with new ones.

Late Sunday afternoon he laid the first stud for the bathtub. We found a fault in the bathtub, so we need to get a new one. Doesn't look like we will be sheeting the weekend coming, maybe the one after??

I spent my time in the backyard again, putting down some new top soil to get grass to grow back over the mess Aaron made when digging out the pipes.

Well that's us for the weekend. Maybe some better progress next weekend.

P.S. You should see the amazing bedside tables my dad made us. AMAZING! Thanks Dad.
