Well not much to say on the home front this weekend. We moved the shed and contents from the old house to the new place and then continued putting up the walls. The master bedroom is half done and we have to do the kitchen. That's next weekend. So since I don't have anything to say I thought I would leave you with a little of my inspiration. Some of this may pop up in the house. Who knows!

Maybe for the study

I'm going to make this one day!

Just another brick in the wall...

In another weekend of throwing up the walls, there isn't that much to share! But here are some pics. I'd like to make special mention to mum and dad (Joy and Baz) for coming and helping. No matter what we asked it would generally be done when we got home. We may have lost a few trees in the process but the house is starting to look like a house. Also mum made me some amazing curtains which I haven't taken pics yet! That can be a post on its own. We are going to miss mum and dad terribly. Back to looking after ourselves. Boo

I can see the light...

Well what another epic weekend. Mainly for Aaron, Mum and Dad. While we have been at work Mum and Dad have been busily working on curtains, our walk-in pantry and the garden. They have done an amazing job! I also can't tell you how nice it is and have dinner cooked for you, washing done and the shopping done! I asked mum to stay, she thinks I was joking. Even Jackson has enjoyed having company during the day!
So on the weekend Aaron and Dad put up some walls, the pantry is now set for plastering and shelves. Mum and I went shopping! On Sunday we did a trip to the tip with all the tress and scrubs we have been removing and then finished off with putting up some more walls. So far we have walls in 1 spare room, hallway complete, lounge has 2 walls (1 to go). The walls make the house look so bright and light. I can't wait to add some more next weekend. Also looking forward to Easter where we have 4 days of renovating, not just 2!

So tired

In an epic weekend of Mary Poppins, a 30th birthday party and throwing up some walls, gosh I am tired. Now its back to work today. Mum and Dad arrive tomorrow for 2 weeks to help out and I can't wait! Well not much to say this week as all we did was put some gyprock on the walls. But boy do they make a difference to the house. So we started on the hallway and ended in one of the spare rooms. The spare room looks amazing. Nice and bright.

I have a few lessons I would like to share:
1. Do not use white linen while renovating, with a dog and in the wet season. All I do is wash my white donna cover! Annoying.
2. Do not measure window holes with a head ache (self inflicted)
3. When gyprocking on top half of your wall, use milk crates. So much better than using a ladder.
4. Impact drill is GOD!
5. Every girl needs a tool belt!
6. Measure twice, cut once

Note: Images are no in order again.
Aaron wanted me to show what an amazing photographer he is. He took this while waiting to meet us and go to Mary Poppins. What a beautiful city we live in.
And here it starts... a massive pile to get through!
