Decided to do some late night tiling on Sat night

At one point we were going to smash some tiles off and start that area again - we changed our minds

Hello!

Just a quick update!

Only one and a bit walls to go. Aaron was on a course on Saturday so I was lucky enough to clean the house and prepare dinner for some friends that were coming over. Good house wife I say!

On Sunday we spent the whole day tiling, and it all went swimmingly. We may do some more tiling during the week, but we will see how we go.

Aaron is on another course on Saturday so if it's not raining I will try and get my veggie patch under way. Maybe next weekend we may be able to say we have finished tiling, but we will see, no pressure

Umbrella

Aaron and I decided that we wouldn't stress this weekend on accomplishing too much, so there was a little more focus on taking time out rather than tiling. We didn't start working on the bathroom until after lunch on Saturday and on Sunday we didn't start until about 4pm. 

We borrowed a tile cutter from a friend which also took the pressure off not having hired the tile saw. The first tile cutter we borrowed we could only cut on the short side, so that was annoying. So we borrowed a different one. The new one we borrowed will allow us to cut on the long edge. Hence why we have put timber up to hold the tiles in-place.

These last few walls we will fly through when we start. Lots more full tiles which makes the process go alot quicker.

Aaron is on a course this coming weekend, so I may spend some time in the garden getting the veggie patch ready for spring.

Well we finally reached a milestone over the weekend. The back wall is done! Yipee! It's looking great! Weekend was obviously spent doing the back wall and the bathtub wall.  Hard to get a good photo as the window lets all the light in.

We also had Sian and Ryan come and stay with us on the Saturday night, so that was lovely. 

Next weekend we move onto the wall where the door is and hopefully a side wall. Bring it on!
