This one is for you dad!

Golly gosh it's been a long time since my last post. I bet you thought I wasn't coming back. Well since my dad has been bugging me to do one, here tis.

To be honest there hasn't been that many exciting pics, taking pics of a square room progressing probably isn't that exciting! We are nearly finished with the spare room! We have been waiting on parts for a window to come in and they finally have so we can finish that in the coming weeks. The carpet was installed just before Christmas, the walls are painted, the other window is in. It looks great, although it at the moment is just a storage room, it's nice to have it nearly there.

Over christmas we spent our time doing odd jobs that needed doing and we also started sanding the outside of the house. Yep in 35 degree heat. Silly really.

I'm pretty sure I have said this 1,000 times, but sanding is literally the worst job in the world. It is soooo boring.  Lucky I have a husband that actually doesn't mind doing it. A few months ago we did a lead test on the paint and it came back negative, but then when we started sanding and we thought we would do another check and yep it came back positive. Which means in the first few days sanding we hadn't been following the correct procedures for sanding back lead based paint. Azz is now onto it.

Since my last post we also started out own clothing line called *redstar apparel that has been keeping us busy, me more than Aaron. It's nice to have a passion other than work and the house. I've enjoyed meeting all the new people we've come in contact with and we know we are onto a good thing it's just going to take effort, you only get what you put in. It's all pretty exciting. In February we have three CrossFit comps we are attending to sell our gear, it's going to be a busy month.

It's all happening at 152.
